St-Onge, Sylvain

Research Assistant
Sylvain St-Onge obtained his doctorate in education at the Université de Moncton. His dissertation focuses on the influence of the media, as a source of vitality, on the language experiences and psycholinguistic development of New Brunswick francophone high school students. He holds a master's degree in orientation and a bachelor's degree in education from the Université de Moncton, as well as a bachelor's degree in geography with a specialization in land use planning and sustainable development from the Université du Québec à Rimouski. In 2015, he received a scholarship from the Baxter and Alma Ricard Foundation for his doctoral studies, a scholarship reserved for Francophone students living in a minority environment who have demonstrated their commitment to society, their leadership and their civic sense. He has been a lecturer at the Université de Moncton since 2016, teaching courses in education and quantitative and qualitative research.
