Abstract
Report and synthesis in French only.
This report presents data on interprovincial migration between 2011 and 2016 in Canada by four language groups: Francophones, Anglophones, Bilinguals and Allophones. It includes data on interprovincial migrants by province or territory of origin and destination over a five-year period. These data were also produced for the population aged 15 to 24, 25 to 54 and 55 and over. Other tables also present data for the province or territory of destination of external migrants for the same age groups. Also included are data on in-migrants and out-migrants, as well as net migration, as well as data on external migrants. An overview of data on inbound interprovincial and outbound migrants in major cities across the country was also presented.
The synthesis, on the other hand, shows the same or more or less the same data in more condensed versions. It also includes some graphs and a map.
