Abstract
This book contains a collection of essays about various French-Canadian military leaders. The stories cover leaders from the earliest settlers in New France, the colonial period, the two world wars, the Cold War through to Brigadier-General Roméo Dallaire’s recent service in Rwanda. Each story is put in the context of the political and military events of the day, and analyzed in terms of the art and science of command.
