Abstract
Examines equity & multicultural issues in the minority French-language schools in Canada, based on a 1991 study involving content analysis of 91 documents on intercultural education & other pertinent topics. Telephone interviews were also conducted with educational representatives across the country (N unspecified). Results indicate that most policies affecting the French-speaking minority are made by the English-speaking majority. It is concluded that Canada has not established an educational system that helps integrate various ethnic groups into a common culture & nation.
